This is a rare Cambridge University Rugby Union Supporters shirt

CONDITION - Shirt is in excellent condition

CONDITION DETAILS - Colours are good with no fading. Smooth material feel with all the logos within the material of the shirt

SIZE - Adults 50" - 2XL
Armpit to armpit 26 inches. Top of shoulder to bottom of shirt 34 inches.

DETAIL - Rare supporters shirt from circa 2020

HISTORY - The history of the Varsity Match goes back to 1872.  The first game was at The Parks, Oxford, where they played a 20 a-side version of the game. They played with the hosts victorious in this inaugural meeting.

Oxford wore dark blue shirts, however, Cambridge played in pink, changing the Cambridge Shirt to the now famous light blue and white in 1876.
