The Yorkshire Cup final took place on 18 October 1992, at Elland Road in Leeds, where Wakefield Trinity faced the Sheffield Eagles. The Eagles had reached the final after notable victories, including a semi-final win over Hull FC and a commendable performance against the touring Australian team.
Despite the Eagles' impressive form, Wakefield Trinity dominated the final, securing a 29–16 victory. The match showcased Trinity's tactical prowess and physical endurance, as their pack consistently disrupted the Eagles' rhythm.
