This is a British and Irish Lions Official Adidas long sleeved Rugby Union Shirt from the 1997 tour to South Africa.

This is a very rare South African made version. 

CONDITION - Shirt is in very good condition

CONDITION DETAILS - Colours are good. The crest and adidas logos are stitched and are excellent. The sponsor is printed and is excellent. 

SIZE - The size tag has faded. From measurements Adults Medium.

Armpit to armpit 20 inches/ 51cm. Top of shoulder to bottom of the shirt 29 inches/ 73cm. Top of shoulder to end of cuff 27 inches/ 68cm

Please check the measurements as sizes from previous periods can be different to todays standard sizes.

MADE BY - Adidas of 100% cotton.

FEATURES - South African made for the 1997 Tour. This is a tighter fitting shirt. The sponsor is printed and the material is thinner. 

PLAYERS -  included Johnson, Dawson, Jenkins, Bentley

DETAIL - This is a very rare South African made jersey as they ran out of jerseys on the tour. A few mid week matches were played in these tighter fitting shirts.
