Leinster Rugby – appoint Graham Henry – Classic Rugby Shirts

All Blacks former World Cup winning manager Sir Graham Henry is to join with Leinster as a consultant on a short-term agreement on 30 July.

The Kiwi, who took New Zealand to the World Cup in 2011, will assist head coach Leo Cullen on a short term basis

.Cullen change is crucial for Leinster “to examine distinctive ways of challenging ourselves”.

“everyone within the organisation will gain from his information,” he advised

Having led the Auckland Blues to two amazing Rugby titles, Henry was appointed head of Wales in 1998 then leading the British and Irish Lions on their tour of Australia in 2001.

He was appointed All Blacks head  in 2004, leading them at two World Cups, winning the trophy in 2011.

Henry will be a part of Leinster, who he described as “a club with a rich and proud history”, before the 2016-17 season starts.

“Undoubtedly the coaches and the players will benefit from having a coach of his stature in and amongst us as we build towards the new season,” stated Leinster coach Cullen.
